Linesight has been requested by the client to carry out a full cost assessment of the MEP energy consumption of two high-rise office buildings in La Defense district of Paris, France. This is following the recent French government policy “Le Decret Tertiaire” which is a legal requirement for reducing energy consumption in tertiary sector buildings by 2030.

An initial challenge of this project for the Linesight team was the lack of detailed ‘as-built’ drawings for the MEP systems of the existing building, in particular the equipment specifications, controls and client usage information. In order to overcome this, the team carried out several visits to assess the existing MEP design.
