Damien’s appointment forms part of our growth strategy, offering an end-to-end solution for clients across the USA, who include major global financial institutions and multinational technology corporations.
Damien comments:
“We see real potential to build upon our success in the USA. Expanding our service offering and geographical reach will help us to further support our clients who are driving this growth with repeat business, which is a great testament to the quality of our service and team.”
Damien has been in construction for 35 years, and joined Linesight in 2004. He began his career as an Architectural Technician, and progressed through the ranks as a Project Architect before becoming a Project Manager. Damien has also gained experience as a Senior Project Manager and Operations Director, and then General Manager of Operations for design build contractors. He subsequently joined Davis Langdon as the Senior Project Manager on the Beacon Court US$1.2 billion dollar mixed-use development.
Since joining the Linesight team, Damien has worked on a number of data center projects throughout the EMEA and APAC regions, before moving to the USA four years ago as Lead Project Manager on a mega campus project for a global technology giant.
In addition to Damien’s appointment, 2018 will see the opening of a central region office to expand our already robust professional service offering, and complement our existing offices in New York and San Francisco. A major recruitment drive will see a growth in the workforce of all of our offices across the USA.
Linesight’s Managing Director US West Region Steven Cooke adds:
“It’s truly an exciting time for Linesight in the USA as we continue to grow at a phenomenal rate. Damien has an incredible track record in the USA in the Data Center market, and we believe his expertise in the sector will help to further distinguish Linesight as best in class in this space.”
