Global construction consultancy firm, Linesight, today announced the appointments of Takehiko Yuge as Country Lead for Japan, and Sunjaay Athanki as Director, based in India. These strategic appointments are a reflection of Linesight’s continued growth trajectory across Asia Pacific.
Based in Tokyo, Takehiko will lead a national strategy to develop and support Linesight clients and their construction projects in Japan. Takehiko brings over 20 years of engineering, project management, estimating and tendering experience, and joins Linesight from Obayashi Corporation, one of the largest building and civil contractors in Japan. Takehiko held a number of roles at Obayashi Corporation, including General Manager, where he successfully led their data centre business in Japan and Singapore.
Sunjaay’s role will focus on driving business growth through strategic global initiatives, as well as supporting Linesight’s recent project appointments in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai in India. Sunjaay is a highly experienced construction professional, with over 22 years’ experience in India, North America and the Middle East, working with clients across a range of sectors, including data centres, life sciences, healthcare, hospitality, commercial and retail. Sunjaay leverages his previous experience with a construction firm where he successfully oversaw both cost management and global workshare divisions.
