Jazz Pharmaceuticals announced as a category winner in the ISPE’s Facility of the Year Awards for Project Execution

Jazz Pharmaceuticals Ireland Limited has been recognized for the innovation and creativity in the development of their greenfield facility in Athlone (Ireland) by the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (IPSE). Jazz Pharmaceuticals, which is headquartered in Ireland and has operations in the United States, England, Italy and elsewhere, had previously outsourced production, and so achieving this recognition on their first manufacturing facility is all the more remarkable.

Linesight provided Project Controls services on this project, which emphasized ‘green chemistry’ and cost-effectiveness, with the master plan facilitating future expansion from a centralized spine arrangement. The project was delivered on time (28 and a half months after groundbreaking) and under budget, and we are proud to have been involved with such an innovative and exciting project.
