NEL Hydrogen TfL Project London 20 Filling stations

Linesight provided site support, Cost and Project Management services to Nel Hydrogen for their first Hydrogen fueling station in the UK for TFL London buses. Works took place between 2020 and 2022, at the station located in Ealing, London. Nel are responsible for the whole station and self perform the hydrogen process and refueling pump supply.

Linesight also worked with Nel Hydrogen for the hydrogen stations at Perivale bus depot (operated by TfL franchisee Metroline), which services a fleet of 20 hydrogen fuel cell buses. This station is made up of a two tanker storage area confined within blast walls. The two tankers then feed to two fueling pumps. The fueling station is located within an existing bus parking facility owned by TfL.

Our collaboration with Linesight has resulted in clear stakeholder management and prioritisation of key activities enabling us to meet the expectations of Transport For London (TFL), and open the hydrogen refueling facility efficiently. Linesight has played a pivotal role on the Perivale project in procuring key and bespoke packages of work that are fundamental to project handover to the end user.
