Linesight is serving as a strategic consultant to a confidential client for the delivery of a program of projects across the United States and Canada. The projects vary from location to location but are all biotech related including filling lines and gene therapy projects. Services being provided include: Project Controls, Program Management services, Capital Procurement and

Supply Chain support. As a start-up, our client had an immature governance structure in place to enable effective management and governance of multiple projects. Our team partnered with the client at an early stage to develop an effective governance and reporting structure to manage project outcomes and mitigate associated risks.

Value added by Linesight

  • Established a program-wide continuity of reporting across projects (inclusive of risks, contingencies, cost forecasts, and schedules) and set up a capital management planning process
  • Developed a program management reporting tool that rolls up all active projects into one-page reports. This tool is used to report to the senior leadership on the status of each capital project
  • Established strategic partnerships with the client’s top suppliers including establishment of master agreements and discounts
  • Achieved an ROI (savings to fee) of 5X
  • Provided strategic advice on the client’s engineering and construction category spend
  • Provided critical supply chain support with the roll out and implementation of our client’s procurement ERP system
  • Spearheaded a ‘how to buy guide’ that was rolled out to the entire company (over 1200 employees), on-boarded nearly 700 suppliers, and processed over 800 purchase orders
