Salesforce has announced that it has agreed to lease Spencer Place South on North Wall Quay as its new Dublin HQ campus. Ronan Group Real Estate Development in partnership with Colony Capital are the developers, and Linesight is providing Cost and Project Management services on the exciting project. The multinational software firm plans to extend its presence in Ireland, with its new city centre campus, ‘Salesforce Tower’, providing for a significant increase in its Dublin-based workforce.
The 500,000sq.ft. campus will be the most sustainable of Salesforce’s facilities worldwide. It will meet the new NZEB (near zero energy building) targets alongside LEED (V4) platinum certification, and WiredScore certification, and includes an impressive seven-storey glazed atrium and three storeys of internal landscaped gardens. The top floor with landscaped terraces will afford spectacular views along the river back towards the city centre, as well as out towards Dublin Bay and the mountains beyond. It will be Salesforce’s Ohana floor (family in Hawaiian) and will be made available to local community groups and not-for-profit organisations for events in the evening – a tradition practiced in all Salesforce buildings.
The announcement marks the largest single office space lease to date in Ireland, overtaking another project that Linesight is working on for the Ronan Group – Fibonacci Square at the AIB Bank Centre campus in Ballsbridge, which has been leased by Facebook as part of its Dublin campus to extend its Irish presence.
