Linesight is delighted to announce that Su Zen Kong, Associate, has been honoured with the Kenneth Cribbin Memorial Award for 2024. This distinguished accolade, presented in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin, recognises the top-performing student on TCD’s Post-Graduate Diploma in Project Management each year.
Named in memory of our former COO, Ken Cribbin, the award celebrates academic excellence in project management and honours his legacy and contributions to the industry. Inaugurated in 2019 with Ken presenting the first edition, it was since renamed in his honour, following his passing in 2020, becoming a notable recognition within the project management community.
This year's award is particularly significant, marking the first time a Linesight employee has been honoured with this distinction. Su Zen Kong distinguished herself by achieving the highest marks in the 2023 examinations. The presentation ceremony, led by Ken’s wife, Carol, and Linesight Director, Kevin Kinsella, served as a poignant tribute to Ken Cribbin's impactful legacy.
Speaking after the ceremony, Kevin Kinsella, Director, said: “Su Zen's exceptional performance not only honours Ken's legacy but also sets a high standard for future students. We're incredibly proud of her. Well done to all involved in organising this continued award in Ken’s memory, what a truly fitting tribute.”
Accepting the award, Su Zen said: “I am delighted to have graduated from Trinity College with a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management. I am truly honoured and touched to have won first place in the Kenneth Cribbin Memorial Award. Thank you to all my classmates, lecturers, and colleagues, and thanks to Kevin Kinsella, and Carol Cribbin for presenting this accolade.”
Stephen Ashe, Senior Director for Europe added: “Congratulations to Su Zen on this wonderful achievement. This award is even more fitting as Ken Cribbin was a hugely respected and valued colleague at Linesight who had a major impact on our business and the wider industry. It is brilliant when one of our own is acknowledged for their hard work”.
