The EXO Building in Dublin has been awarded LEED V3 Platinum certification, marking Europe’s first development to receive the certification prior to practical completion. LEED V3 Platinum certification is the highest level of certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for Building Design and Construction.
Linesight is providing Cost Management, as well as Health and Safety services on the Grade A office space, which won an International Architecture Award in 2019 in the Commercial category, and champions exemplary sustainability and environmental standards. It comprises a gross floor area of circa. 22,660sq.m. and a net internal area of 15,768sq.m.
The development sits on the eastern side of Point Square, an emerging civic quarter in Dublin. Taking its name from its large-scale exoskeleton steel structure, the development stands at 17 stories high and is raised at ground level by approximately 8m. This is complemented by an adjacent 10.5m high cubic glazed bar and restaurant, with the development also boasting a 1,000sq.m. roof garden.
