In this role you will:

- Analyse Tenders/Bids: Ensure client value for money through thorough analysis of tenders and bids.
- Support Dispute Resolution: Assist in settling construction disputes and loss and expense claims with full transparency.
- Mentor and Lead: Foster top performance and growth for employees via excellent mentorship and leadership.
- Final Account Preparation: Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling any claims to ensure the client gets the best value from works undertaken.
- Cost Planning: Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
- Project Management Support: Support nimble project management and clear decision-making through excellent cost documentation and timely communication.
- Tender/Bid Participation: Actively participate in the tender/bid process from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
- Oversee Project Spend: Create valuations and cost reports, clearly communicating variations to your team.

 

We would love to hear from you if you:

- Education and Experience: Have a degree or comparable experience in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Cost Management Experience: Possess experience in cost management with varied contracting strategies.
- Technical Understanding: Have a technical understanding within mechanical, electrical, process, or CSA.
- Retail Fit Out Expertise: Have 3+ years’ experience specifically within retail fit out and construction projects.
- Drawing and Schematic Interpretation: Are capable of reading and interpreting services drawings and schematics.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent IT, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Dynamic Work Environment: Enjoy working in a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines.
