In this role you will:

  • Oversee the logistics, installation, resource tracking, and commissioning of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) long lead equipment (LLE) for a data centre construction project
  • Conduct site walks, perform detailed analysis and reporting of OFCI resources and equipment, collect progress reports and ensure spare parts are available
  • Coordinate planning for warehousing, including identifying space requirements and duration of storage and ensure proper handling, storage and security
  • Participation in final testing, start-up, and commissioning of utilities, systems, and equipment
  • Organize and facilitate meetings between the Contractor and client stakeholders to support the LLE procurement process
  • Review, monitor, and track the OFCI equipment, providing regular reports on status, scope demarcation, and potential risks
  • Manage quality assurance and standards compliance
  • Oversee and monitor the commissioning and testing of systems, ensuring that all equipment meets the commissioning and maintenance requirements as outlined in the contract
  • Attend weekly and monthly project meetings as required, documenting minutes and tracking actionable items to ensure timely closure

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have grown your experience over 5 years in a procurement and supply chain management role within a construction or project management environment
  • Ideally have experience in managing long lead equipment (OFCI) processes for data centres, industrial or large-scale construction projects
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in a procurement or supply chain management related discipline
  • Have previous experience with OFCI equipment, understand processes, equipment, and standards
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
  • Are enthusiastic about being part of a global team, and able to flex your hours to engage across regions and time zones
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
