In this role you will be: 

 

Responsible for managing service delivery and the effective operation of the Finance Service desk.

  • Implement and manage the Service strategy on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure Service targets are managed in line with overall Service strategy and identify improvements for increased functional efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and report weekly and monthly on Service levels.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to support the Finance Service desk.

Responsible for customer service and continuous improvements of the customer experience.

  • Develop and build relationships with Finance leads, internal IT and external vendors.
  • Respond to queries as required and create documentation for customers as required e.g. FAQs.
  • Escalation point for priority tickets and complaints.
  • Follow up with customers to identify areas of improvements and drive solutions to form part of continued operational excellence.

Responsible for the management of the Service desk. 

  • Define prioritisation of resource activity, provide guidance and feedback to team members.
  • Recruitment, training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Identify future hiring needs.
  • Manage key stakeholder engagements and feedback to Director of Enterprise Finance Processes & Systems and Group Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager as appropriate.

Project Management

  • Lead finance system upgrades and implementations end to end.

 

 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

  • An understanding of Finance systems and processes.
  • Previous experience as a Service Desk Manager.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion is advantageous.
  • Evidence of driving continuous improvements across processes and systems
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interpret and present data clearly
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
