In this role you will: 

 

Drive Month End / Period Close Process Enhancement: 

  • Optimise the month end process in Linesight reducing the current timeline to period close via process review, amendment and automation.
  • Align the month end process across Linesight and IPS catering for relevant organisational nuances.
  • Improve the consolidation tool (Oracle EPM, formally Hyperion) reporting output. 

Lead Oracle Projects Module (PPM) Process Improvement: 

  • Review upstream and downstream systems and relevant processes, e.g. Salesforce, MINT (bespoke forecasting tool), Concur.
  • Review Projects Team processes and PPM system functionality in conjunction with the above, identify enhancements and lead the delivery of process optimisation and related system changes.
  • Drive the enhancement of PPM module reporting and amendment of existing reports in line with system related enhancements as appropriate. 

Oversee ERP System Support: 

  • Leverage the support team to deliver identified system enhancements.
  • Be the escalation point for the support team and engage with our third party managed service provider.
  • Be the point of contact for finance system audit queries. 

Manage Process and Systems Improvement: 

  • Create a roadmap for finance system enhancements, including interfacing applications
  • (e.g. Salesforce, Concur).
  • Prioritise the enhancements through consultation with relevant stakeholders to implement roadmap changes effectively.
  • Identify opportunities for process harmonisation across Linesight and IPS, define the requirements for change and manage that change appropriately.
  • Review existing process documentation and update to reflect changes/enhancements.

 

We would love to hear from you if you:  

  • A qualified accountant with relevant PQE
  • Have proven experience with Oracle Fusion adoption (or similar ERP) and process analysis/reengineering – professional services experience in this context is an advantage.
  • Have the ability to define and lead process reengineering and system enhancements.
  • Have strong understanding of financial reporting processes and their manifestation in accounting systems.
  • Can demonstrate successful process optimization and associated system enhancement roll out.
  • Have excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams across different geographies.
