Undergraduate Construction Work Placements

How does it work?

You will be assigned a Placement Supervisor who will develop a personal Learning and Development Plan which will include a blend of on-the-job learning and formal training. Your Placement Supervisor will also liaise with your College Work Placement Coordinator and approve your college assessment materials throughout your placement.   

As a member of the Linesight team you are also part of a wider group of Linesight work placement participants and graduates. You will be included in the various initiatives and fun activities that we facilitate year-round as part of our people investment.   

Who is it for?

College students looking for work placement opportunities. We accept people from a range of colleges / universities around the world working towards a degree/professional qualification. Applicants are generally studying one of the following: Construction Economics; Quantity Surveying; Construction Management; Mechanical Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Data Centre Facilities Engineering; Corporate Services (Finance, Marketing, HR or IT)

When to apply

We accept applicants all year round. Interviews tend to happen over the summer months with placement offers issued in September to commence the following year. 

Duration

Durations of placements depend on your course requirements and can range from 12 weeks to 12 months.
